Who I am…

I have always been the dreamer kid dwelling in a surreal world. The mysticism that percolates through the edges of a separate realm has always found its way into my sketchbooks. Listening to my elders’ stories as a kid curated a space for wonder and imagination that stayed with me and developed my art style. I paint dreamscapes utilizing indigenous symbolism to tell visual stories of my own. My artwork explores ancestral context in a contemporary way that delivers my own observations and perspective. Nature and mysticism are integral elements that are fixated in the essence of my painting style. These visual stories honor the place my heart is tethered to. Through these vision quests I share what I see with the world.
